The artwork in Expresiones de Mexico, Arte de la Gente / Art of the People spans the gamut of tradition, technique, beauty, and time and Mexic-Arte Museum welcomes the community to share in the enjoyment, discovery, and appreciation of these incredible artworks and traditions.

Accessibility Information
The Mexic-Arte Museum is located in the heart of downtown Austin on the corner of East 5th Street and Congress Avenue, easily seen and reachable by the public. It is handicap accessible featuring: official handicap street parking located on both the Congress and 5th Street sides of the Museum. Entrance and interior mobility include the minimum 32″ wide doorway clearance space. Accessible paths around the gallery areas have a minimum 36″ width, and a unisex, handicap accessible restroom with grab bars available. There is affordable paid parking on the street, and nearby pay parking lots at ground level. Additionally, Frost Bank Tower next door to the Mexic-Arte Museum has public parking available to accommodate downtown visitors for a fee, and features an elevator, handicap spots, ramps, and large doorways for easy mobility to and from the Museum.
