Come join the Fun Force! of Rainbow Connections ATX at our new monthly Spring Into Action! walking program the last Friday morning of the month of March, April, & May 2023.

*People 12 and up may attend with a guardian.
We'll meet in the parking lot off of Simond Ave. (cross street Aldrich) near the restrooms at 10 am and leave to start our stroll paced 3 mile walk at 10:15.
I'll have peach hair and a clipboard ;)

First walk: Friday, March 31st
Second walk: Friday, April 28th
Third walk: Friday, May 26th

Check out this 3.0-mile loop trail near Austin, Texas. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 56 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Accessibility: There are 2 designated wheelchair-accessible parking spaces with access aisles at the paved trailhead lot at the north end. This asphalt, brick, cement, and compact gravel trail is typically at least 5 feet wide. The slope is estimated to be mostly gentle (all 5% grade or less) uphill and down. Depending on weather and trail conditions, some trail goers using mobility equipment, or a stroller may need assistance or need to avoid the packed gravel portions of the route southeast of the Mueller Lake.
